The White Hills: Their Legends, Landscape and Poetry by Thomas Starr King - 1871

Good condition:  a deluxe version 1871 hardcover, a TIGHT copy, with 'colored-feather' (like Bulgarian Troyan ceramic painting technique) endpapers, page edges and part of cover/rest is caramel-colored leather (corners/spine).  403 pp., w/ some photographs and other woodcut-type illustrations amidst text; same but lighter pattern on page edges. Text in very good overall condition, unmarked with no tears, BUT does have corner/edge wear in varying degrees (see second pic) including corners' surfaces and one place bottom back board corner worn down to cardboard underneath (see third pic), some short pencilled inscriptions inside cover, some small spots/ light smudges here and there in text.
