London: Ward, Lock and Co., 1914. [Mystery] FIRST EDITION, PUBLISHER'S FILE COPY. Octavo (19 x 13cm), pp.304; 16, advertisements. Illustrated frontispiece with tissue guard. Black cloth ornately decorated in red and gilt, illustrated dust-jacket. Publisher's file copy signified by a paper label to the upper board and a discreet file number to front panel of the dust-wrapper. A lovely fine copy of the book in a very good jacket, rubbed in places and with a long closed tear to rear panel. Rare in jacket - no other copies are currently offered for sale. A Hubin-listed crime novel.

He moved to Kensington Church Street in 1997, and in 2014 Adrian relocated to the historic Hall's Bookshop in Royal Tunbridge Wells, occupying the first floor of this iconic building near The Pantiles area of the town. Hall's remains on the ground floor offering an exceptional range of quality used books.
