Original dark brown cloth hard covers, with gilt titles to spine, and black illustration/design to front. Edges untrimmed. Some moderate handling and shelf wear to covers, with some shallow loss to spine ends. Corners softened. Hinges internally brittle (at endpapers). Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat - a sound enough copy. 16-page publisher's catalogue for 1895 at rear. viii,88+16[cat.]pp..
