London: John Lane, 1895. Scarce. Author's first book of poetry. 88 pages, plus 16 pages of publisher's advertising. Pages are clean and in good condition; slightly yellowed, including endpapers. Previous owner's name on the ffep, 4 lines of poetry written neatly on the half title page. Brown hardcovers with gilt titles on the spine, black titles and illustration on upper cover. Corners are bumped, head/tail of spine are a little worn. Small, 1/2" chip near the tail of the spine. Binding tight. GOOD+. First U.K.. Hard Cover. Good+.
