Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for F/O gift inscription on the half title page along with birthday Feb. 21, 1938. Book Condition: Good; wear to head, tail, and tips; rubbing to panels; sound internal hinges; clean pages. No DJ. Pictorial blue/white boards and spine with white title in black shadow on front board. Laid in is a birthday card, "Conundrums about Trees" from Raylene to Helen as noted on half title page- therefore from 1938 in excellent condition. 64 pp 12mo. This book is divided in to thee sections of riddles; Mother Goose People, Story-Book People, and Happy Workers. The riddles and the accompanying silhouette pictures give the young reader the clues as to who the riddle is about along with learning new words. A clean very presentable copy.
