Vg in d/w and slip-case (d/w slightly worn, a few short edge tears; chipped with minor loss to foot of spine; some light foxing to spine; in removable protective sleeve; slip-case with some wear and a few splash marks to one corner). Rarely found with dust jacket and slip-case.. First Edition. Written and illustrated by British ornithologist, conservationist and artist Peter Markham Scott (1909-1989). Signed edition limited to 1200 numbered copies, each signed by the author. No 545/1200..
