Vintage flyer for the premiere of "Wild Wheels!," "a mixed-media extravaganza" benefit to raise funds for the 1992 Art Car documentary by Harrod Blank, Saturday, April 8, 1989, at the U.C. Theatre in Berkeley, California. The flyer, which notes that it is "a benefit for Harrod Blank's next film, Wild Wheels," featuring the filmmaker and photographer Liz 'Lizard' Zivic (who is noted as Blank's collaborator for the event), was a single day affair at the U.C. Theatre, featuring an art car exhibition and a screening of Blank's 1987 comedy short "In the Land of Owl Turds," to raise funds to benefit Blank's 1992 documentary "Wild Wheels," as well as an opportunity to "Win a Ride in 'Oh My God!'." A documentary of the Art Car phenomenon in the US during the 1980s and early 1990s. Blank would make a follow-up film to the 1992 documentary, "Driving the Dream," in 1998, focusing on the artists behind the Art Cars.
