About This Item
Jane's Information Group, 1980-04-17. Hardcover. Good Plus/Very Good Minus. 11x8x1. Signed. 176pp. (blue spine). Flat signed by the author - Captain Eric 'Winkle' Brown to the front endpaper (Eric Brown) and also by J. C. Speirs who I think may also have been a World War Two aeronautical hero (?). Original publisher's blue boards - silver embossed to the spine. A significant bump to the front board edge leading to an associated 1.5cm split to the board and also a notable bump to the upper text block affecting around the first 20 pages with light creasing, but with expertly repaired very short tears to the front endpaper (above the signatures) and the title page. The text supported by both line drawings and numerous photographic reproductions. The jacket has been price-clipped; it has a vertical crease along the front panel, it has some rubbing with slight chipping/loss at the tail of the spine, some shelf wear, uniform slight fading to the spine. A good plus flat signed copy.
