About This Item
New York: George H. Doran, 1922. Hard Cover. Used; Acceptable. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Normal wear for age, plus paint (?) spots on front cover, small chips in spine, a few pages have waterstains; a couple of annotations in pen. Reddish brown cloth boards with black titles on spine, and a black field surrounding the red for the titles on front; 260 pp. T. DeWitt Talmage preached "an everyday religion, full of sunshine, flowers, music, health, hope, encouragement." His daughter May said in 1922 that "his messages have not grown old or stale with the passing years" and, remarkably, that is still true in 2002.
