A Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone title, and basis for Robert Gurney, Jr's 1958 film noir Edge of Fury, starring Michael Higgins, Lois Holmes, and Jean Allison - one of the first films to deal with psychopathology from a sympathetic perspective.
