About This Item

Geological Society of South Africa, 1986. De Luxe Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Number 665 of 750 published in the de luxe red binding. The boards are a touch edge worn, but remain square and whole, with stunning gold gilt on the front, back and spine. The dust jacket is slightly rubbed and edge worn, with some small, unnoticeable creases and scratches on the surface, particularly on the back. The edges near the spine are beginning to fray a tad. Despite this, the jacket remains whole, clean and intact. Internally, there is a previous owner's signature on the front end page in black ink. The edges of the pages within have yellowed ever so slightly. This is barely noticeable, however, and the text is not affected in any way. The pages are clean, crisp and complete, with no defect or marking. The binding is tight and it is presented beautifully in cellophane. JV. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
