A Nearly Fine edition that has a previous owner's name inked on the front pastedown and a few dents to the board edges, housed in a Very Good dust-jacket that is rubbed, creased and occasionally torn about the trim; When twelve-year-old Bluejay is sent to live with his aunt Fancy in the small town of Blue Rock, he has no idea what he's in for. Fancy is a woman of many talents and interests, one of which is fashion. Bluejay quickly learns that being fashionable is more important than anything else in Fancy's life. Bluejay is ridiculed and made to feel like a outcast by the other children in town, but he learns to stand up for himself and find his own sense of style.Eventually, Bluejay falls in love with Fancy's daughter, Dandelion. Dandelion is wild and carefree, and she doesn't care about being fashionable. Bluejay is determined to show her that being fashionable isn't about being someone you aren't, it's about being yourself. Together, Bluejay, Dandelion, and Fancy learn to live life to the fullest and enjoy the simple things in life.; 8vo; 308 pages .
