Illustrated with a color frontispiece of Madame de Pompadur in Goupilgravure reproduced from a pastel by Maurice-Quintin del La Tour and three Goupil Photogravures. Small book plate to paste-down. Soiling to the spine which shows some wear at the heel, untrimmed, a nice clean copy.
