The First UK Printing published by Ivor Nicholson & Watson in 1934. The BOOK is in Very Good condition. Oblong format 27 x 22 cm. Board covers are rubbed, marked and soiled in places. Some exposure of the paper at the corners. Some laxity to the front hinge but the book remains tight. Internally light toning to the pictorial end papers. Light minor markings in places. Coloured illustrations by Leighton remain very bright. A very scarce and charming children's title by Clare Leighton. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
