About This Item
Synopsis
Woodsong is a book of memoirs by Gary Paulsen. It mostly tells of Paulsen and stories of his dog teams. The last part of the book tells about his race in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, a 1,153 mile dog sled race from Anchorage, Alaska to Nome, Alaska. Paulsen describes his life from when he first got a team of sled dogs. He thought he knew a lot about the woods but then realized how ignorant he was and started to find how it really was.
