London: J. Rivington & Sons et al. VG+. 1788. 1st Edition. Leather. Volume Nine of a ten volume set fully bound in calf leather with five raised spine hubs, gilt decorations and lettering. All edges are gilt. Frontis plate engraving of Lydia Sterne De Medalle. 4 1/4" X 7 1/2", 208 pages. A VG+ copy. The book has rubbing and a split along the fron t spine seam. The front cover is wobbly. Small rubs to the corners. 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" bookplate on the front endpaper. Binding by Zaehnsdorf. .
