Volume II: A History of the Family of Fortescue in all its Branches by Thomas (Fortescue) Lord Clermont. Fortescue [c. 1397 - c. 1479] was Chief Justice of the King's Bench and later appointed Chancellor of England by Henry VI. His celebrated works are considered to be a masterly vindication of the laws of England and are essential to the student of the common law.

All items are offered subject to prior sale. We are happy to accept orders by telephone, fax, e-mail or through our website. We welcome visitors, although an advance contact is advised.
