The siblings claim to have found a hidden room in Myrna’s loft, filled with strange and disturbing objects. The room seems to be connected to the murder of their mother, and Gamache fears that it may also be connected to a series of recent murders in the village. As Gamache and his team investigate, they uncover a dark and twisted history that has been buried for many years. The truth, when it is finally revealed, will shock and disturb even the most hardened of investigators.
