About This Item
Signed. First Edition. Fine / very good. One of the 100 books published by the SMU Press. International rule of law. Book is in fine, nearly unread condition. The dust jacket has a 1" tear on the top front cover, near the spine and very minor shelf and edge wear. It is inscribed to Jim and Ellie, who are the late Dr. James Brooks and his wife Eleanor. Dr. Brooks was Interim president of SMU at one time, having worked at many teaching and administrative positions throughout his long career. It is sarcastically inscribed "a touch of light summer reading" and signed by both authors (first names) on the front free end page.
