Hardcover. thick8vo, 22.5cm, 615p., in contemporary half brown morrow, gilt ruled raised bands, gilt decorations and titles in the panels, marbled boards and endpapers, library crest in gilt on the spine, hinges cracked otherwise a very good internally sound copy (ecds). ~ Includes an address "Banking in Canada" by B.E. Walker of Toronto. Sir Byron Edmund Walker (1848-1924) became general manager of the Canadian Bank of Commerce in 1886 and its president in 1907. He was prominent in the establishing of the National Gallery of Canada and the first president of the Champlain Society.
