Burley, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. The first edition. Part of the 'Gollancz Detection' series. In the original publisher's cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. This work was written by British crime writer W. J. Burley. Burley is best known for his series of works featuring Detective Chief Superintendent Charles Wycliffe, who became the inspiration for the TV show 'Wycliffe'. This work follows Wycliffe as he finds a link between the murders of two young women. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart with slight bumping to the extremities, minor marks to the boards and fading to the spine. The odd spot to the endpapers with remnants of a label to the rear pastedown. The wrap is smart with creasing, slight sunning to the spine, and offsetting to the flyleaves. Archival tape re-enforcements to the verso. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the odd spot and minor mark only. Very Good Indeed
