About This Item

4 signatures; author plus 3 artists. This book is a roundup of western artists from the Texas Cowboy Artists Association. They are: Jack Bryant, Clay Dahlberg, George Kovach, Bob Moline, Don Ray, Mark Storm, Jim Thomas, Jim Ward, Tom Warren and Kenneth Wyatt. The book is in near fine, almost unread condition. The spine is leather over off-white burlap cover. The dust jacket is affixed to the leather portion of the cover. The dust jacket has shelf and edge wear and sunning on the front and back cover. There is a stain on the back bottom, but it does not affect the cover. There are no tears. Jacket is price clipped. The author has signed on a paste down book plate stating # 4103 of 50,000 copies. The book has a gift inscription to Plack Carr, who was a Dallas Oilman and who was married to Sis Carr, a tireless civic volunteer, board member, sponsor and philanthropist. Everybody in Dallas knew Sis Carr. Also on the front free end page are the signatures of cowboy artists included in the book: Jack Bryant, Mark Storm and George Kovach.

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
