Green leather spine and corner tips over lighter green paper boards; 5 raised bands and gilt lettering to spine; marbled endpapers. Fine condition. Originally written between 1909 and 1915 in three parts, here is the first translated edition of the Russian novelist's indictment of the lives and evils of prostitution.
