This copy signed by the author at the base of the title page. 8vo. 217pp. Quarter cloth with paper-covered sides, lettered in black at the spine and with red endpapers. Edges spotted, and with a tiny trace of further spotting to the half-title and title page. A very good copy in very good non-price-clipped dust wrapper. The American edition of the author's second book and first collection of short fiction, comprising fifteen stories (two of which did not appear in the equivalent UK edition which was published several years earlier)..
