First published in the UK by Hamish Hamilton the previous year. In the publisher's original quarter cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Signed by the author to the title page. This collection of short stories was written by Scottish author William Boyd. The work includes stories such as 'Love Hurts', 'Long Story Short' and 'Killing Lizards'. Two of the stories feature the character Morgan Leafy, the anti-hero from his novel 'A Good Man in Africa'. In the publisher's original quarter cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is excellent with a closed tear to the front, marks to the front and slight edge wear. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. Fine
