Schon früh sah man in ihm die Quelle allen Schrifttums und aller Bildung. Sein Einfluß war nicht auf eine bestimmte philosophische Schule begrenzt; es hat die chinesische Geistesgeschichte insgesamt entscheidend geprägt. Obwohl Teil des konfuzianischen Kanons, fand es auch Aufnahme in daoistische Schriftensammlungen und hat darüber hinaus auf die buddhistischen Lehren eingewirkt.Den Kern des Werkes bildet eine Sammlung von Orakelsprüchen, angeordnet um 64 Zeichen (Hexagramme), die sich aus jeweils sechs Linien zusammensetzen. Jedem der Zeichen und jeder der Linien ist ein Orakelspruch zugeordnet, der seinerseits ausführlich kommentiert wird. Die Sprüche gehen auf die Zeit vom 10. bis 8. Jahrhundert v. Chr. zurück, die kommentierenden Texte stammen aus dem 4. bis 2. Jahrhundert v. Chr.Die im Yijing dargelegten Ideen über die im Himmel und auf der Erde waltenden kosmischen Kräfte, die stets im Wechselspiel aufeinander bezogen sind, galten und gelten als Grundlage des richtigen Handelns. 010

Terms of payment

Invoices are to be paid within 15 days. For first orders we reserve delivery after payment in advance. In case of delay of payment, the second reminder is charged at an extra cost of CHF 10.00. Also, other additional costs are charged to the customer.

Sales return

In the event of a well-founded claim, the merchandise can be returned upon consultation within 14 days. If the claim turns out to be unsubstantiated, or the damage is the result from improper handling by the customer etc., all the costs are charged to the customer. Returns are only accepted with the invoice enclosed. Damages during shipment have to be notified within 48 hours. Otherwise the refund expires. Return upon dissatisfaction is excluded.
