Cond was a noted English book collector who sent her bookplate to favorite authors, who signed and returned them by mail. Kelso joins the East Indiaman Shropshire as fourth mate in this, the third published book in White's series about Roger Kelso, of the Bombay Marine, set in the Indian Ocean during the British Raj. Octavo. Original black cloth binding, with white and gilt titles. The dust jacket is price-clipped; else very good or better.
