New York: Young Socialist Alliance, 1985. Newspaper. Forty issues of the newspaper, spanning the period between November 1970 and January 1985. Issues present are Vol. 1 No. 3, Vol. 16 Nos. 1, 2, 5, 11 and 12, Vol. 17 Nos. 1-6, Vol. 18 No. 8, Vol. 23 Nos. 1-7, Vol. 24 Nos. 1 and 3-8, Vol. 25 Nos. 1-5, Vol. 26 Nos. 1-5, and Vol. 27 No. 1-4. Various pagination, folded tabloid format newspaper, all worn and evenly toned, all with address labels on front wraps, many ex-library with ownership stamps and pencil notations on front wraps, a few beginning to split along folds, a few with large tears on front wraps, Vol. 25 No. 5 heavily dampstained, else generally good condition. Continuation of the YSA's previous publication, also called "Young Socialist" but published in magazine format. Articles on the Vietnam war, the coup in Chile, Watergate, the energy crisis, fighting racism, anti-draft activism, US intervention in El Salvador, and more.
