John Zacherle, Horror Host extraordinaire for WCAU's Shock Theater in Philadelphia and Zacherley at Large WABC-TV in New York was an American television host, radio personality, singer and voice actor.

In 1960 The Cool Ghoul settled into to a crypt under Times Square (WABC-TV in New York), where, as a regular feature he would interject himself into old horror films and have "conversations" with the monster characters and perform hilarious gruesome skits. In a classic 60's promotional stunt Zacherley staged a presidential campaign which included a Zacherley for President book.

This copy comes with a Transylvania diplomatic passport. Internet lore has it that this was available by sending two labels from Strawberry Cocoa Marsh Syrup to the manufacturer. A species inclusive form letter "Dear Whatever You Are" with printed signature to a fan and two clippings. One is an interview held over dinner at the Pierre Grill in NY and the other a comic 'Ghoul's Tour' with map.
