About the author

Biographer, columnist and fiction writer Rino Di Stefano was a deputy editor in chief of the Italian national newspaper, Il Giornale. Recently retired, he continues his professional activity of investigative journalist. He is the author of five books: The Zanfretta Case, in its sixth edition of which a television adaptation was broadcast; Alcibiades, translated from English to Italian of the work of professor Walter M. Ellis of Loyola Marymount University of Los Angeles; "My dear Marion...", an historical essay about past Italian president Sandro Pertini; Over the Horizon, a collection of political essays about the life of Italian minister Claudio Scajola; The Viral Solution, a novel about the spread of AIDS in the USA (this book has been awarded both in Italy and in the States); The Orchid Shadow, a novel about the role of a mysterious Italian immigrant in the Teapot Dome Scandal in Washington D.C.; The Return of the Prince, a novel about the paranormal presence of Raimondo de Sangro, Prince of San Severo and one of the most interesting personality of the European XVIII century, in today Naples. In 2014 RSI, the Swiss Radiotelevision, broadcast the movie The Machine Coming From The Future by Victor Tognola, a documentary about the Di Stefano's report published on Il Giornale. Di Stefano received the Italian National Award Chronicle of Mystery 2014. One year later, Di Stefano also received the Italian National Journalistic Award Joseph Allen Hynek 2015.
