John Murray 1846. small octavo, tan leather boards; gilt lettering & decoration on spine; blind, gilt decoration to eps edges, marbled eps & page edges, raised & decorated bands, xx&264pp, VG (sl. bruising, soiling & rubbing to boards & edges; sl. superficial marks on boards, both gutters adrift. Library plate on fep pastdown, sl. foxing to prelims, name of former owner in pencil & small library stamp on prelim, sporadic sl. foxing on some pages, sl. adhesive tape residue, few pencil underlining). Still a very handsome book.
