With an introduction by Francis Hackett. --- In Toledano spine 7 / blue balloon cloth / limp boards / gilt cover & spine titling with inter-connected "ML" device / faded dark topstain / orange Kent endpapers / jacket style g, verso lists 265 titles in ML catalog. Likely published c.1939 (though 1926 date appears in the book). ML #116.2. --- With prior owner's signature to ffep, dampstains and mild rippling to many leaves, discoloration to cloth and with dulling to spine gilding, volume is otherwise clean, unmarked and tightly-bound. Fair-only dust jacket with original $.95 flap price, full-length tear at spine, other small tears and chips, and with general age-toning, but mostly intact and in removable mylar protector.; 16mo - 6 to 7 in. tall; xi, 358 pages .

Synopsis

Zuleika Dobson is a 1911 novel by Max Beerbohm, a satire of undergraduate life at Oxford. It was his only novel, but was nonetheless very successful.
