New York: H. L. Lindquist, 1935. This s a signed limited edition of Carl Junge's bookplates. There were 500 autograped copies of which this is no 142. It is also signed by the published as a presentation copy to George Ewing. There is an original Rockwell Kent bookplate designed for George Ewing on the inside front cover. Carl S. Junge was a famous bookplate artist from Chicago. Bookplates of james barrie, woodrow wilson, burton holmes, fannie and carl junge to name only a few are listed. Note that the front cover has some rubbing on the bottom right. I also have another listing of his handwritten diary from 1907 in which he writes of an art course he is taking in Paris. It is number 001679.. Signed by Author and Publisher. 1st Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Long.

Leaves have rhymes past on one side and pictures of various animals on the other. Much of the contents was taken from the publications; 'The Children's Hour', 'The Chicago Tribune', 'Children's Activities' and 'The Treasure Trails'. Apparently it was 1970-72 and was never published. .
