Some use and nicks at edges, three small old tape repairs to blank verso, pinpricks in corners, a couple small breaks at folds, some annotations on verso, otherwise a good or better, visually quite presentable example. A vintage pictorial one sheet for this adaptation of the successful anti-Nazi stage play of the previous year by James Gow and Arnaud d'Usseau, based on a collaborative screenplay by Ring Lardner, Jr. (at the time the most highly paid screenwriter in Hollywood), and Leopold Atlas. Directed by Leslie Fenton, starring Fredric March, Betty Field, Agnes Moorehead, and reprising their stage roles, Skippy Homeier and Edit Angold. The film is uncharacteristic for the time in its sympathetic portrayal of the German people victimized by the influence of Nazism. Apart from the title, the pictorial presentation of the poster betrays little, if any, indication of the anti-Nazi theme.
