Later long edge, and upper corner chewing (1.5-inches; suspect: teething dog or smallish bear). Text not compromised. Illustrations show historic progression and technical information including development of Morse code. telegraph services, equipment, models to build, electric bell illustration, advances to 1935. Also, history: electric plant, distribution, electrical system for automobile, metals chart, sending messages through space. Inventors / Pathfinders: Edison, Fleming, DeForest, Armstrong, Volta. Electrochemistry, electroengineering, vacuum tubing, electromagnetism; health advances produced chlorine; industry developed electroplating (deveopment of plates for printing). X-rays, electronic clocks, batteries, electric signs and more, all derivatives of electricity.
