Presumed first ed. thus; 2 vols. in one: 182 p., and 184 p., clean and unmarked but there are faint crayon marks on back end page, and faint damp stains on lower edge of front end page; back gutter cracked but binding firm. In absnece of d.j. the green boards are faded, bumped and scuffed. Charming ill. alone make this treasure worth rebinding. Extra postage required.

The stories are accompanied by the black & white illustrations of Harrison Cady. Volume bears 1946 date, but more likely published c.1960s. --- In full blue cloth-covered boards with spine titling in black. Volume wrapped in white jacket with Cady artwork to front panel. --- A clean, bright copy lacking damages worthy of mention. Jacket also in great shape, but with small tear to edge; wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; (8), 184 pages .

Hardcover with dust jacket.  Green boards clean and bright with light soiling to page edges. Internally clean, free of previous owners marks or signatures. The binding is tight with hinges intact.  The dust jacket is in good condition, still in one piece and not price clipped, but well worn along all edges and folds, with a large chip missing from the top back cover and the other half repaired with tape.  Now encased in Brodart.

Bright yellow boards. Dust jacket is clean and crisp, with two noticeable chips. Owners name in ink on rear pastedown hidden by back flap. Black-and-white illustrations throughout. Small 8vo. 184 pp. A nice copy.
