Elegantly bound in mid brown half oasis morocco, with raised bands, gilt titles to contrasting red and green labels, and further gilt decoration to spines. Marbled paper over boards; top edges coloured red. Occasional minor signs of handling to text-blocks, presented in an attractive new leather binding. This impressive collection was issued over a two-year period and is complete as published. It includes all her published crime novels up to 1970, with a new foreword by the author in the first volume. Known originally as one of four Queens of Crime, Christie's prominence has grown to the point where to many she is simply the Queen.
