Mr. Dodge, of Providence, writes on p. 5: "Several systems of stenography have made their appearance within the last half century, the best of which that has been heretofore published is the European system by Taylor. This has been arranged and published on a chart entitled "Stenographic Synopsis" by Mr. Gold of Albany.
