Original brown cloth (recased, with the original spine laid down). Rubbed, the spine severely, interior soiling, else a good solid copy. Housed in a custom quarter-morocco and cloth slipcase. First edition. Anderson describes major actions in the western theater, including the evacuation of Corinth, the battles of Iuka and Corinth, and the Vicksburg campaign. Howes A-227.
