Only 8,000 copies were printed by MOMA s board of trustees in November 1940. Griffith was still alive at the time of this exhibit, but I don t know if he attended or not. This book is still in presentable condition and is illustrated throughout with photos from all of his Masterworks. An attractive copy now protected in a glossy acid-free mylar.

The bookplate measures 3 5/8” x 4 7/8” and depicts a charming outdoor scene with a young woman lying down reading a book with a tent nearby and mountains in the background. Illustrated. Near fine slightly dust soiled copy with some very minor edge wear to the extremities, primarily at the top and bottom of the spine.
