A crisp, clean set, near fine, with previous owner's blindstamp on the front free endpaper of each volume. On that same endpaper, in volumes 2 and 3 only, is a tiny ink mark. Dust jackets generally in very good or better condition, sunned, showing some rubbing, with some reinforcements to versos. Jackets on volumes 2 and 3 are price-clipped. A nice, appealing set of this masterwork of history by former president Herbert Hoover. Complete sets of the first printings in dust jackets are difficult to find.
