Light rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine and light foxing present to the top edge of the text block only. Otherwise an excellent near fine copy with pages free from signs of wear. Gilt edged text block. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Leather elements are peeling with some loss. Front joint is completely split, spine panel attached by rear joint.
