Description:
London: T N Longman and O Rees, 1804. pp 464 and 450. Two volumes bound in polished calf, complete with the frontispieces, map and music as called for. The books have been professionally rebacked with smart leather spines with gilt titles. The bindings are tight, the text is clean, the brightly coloured map is torn along some folds but without loss, the pages of music have been neatly reinforced along the edges with thin strips of white paper. Overall near fine. Armorial bookplate of English geologist and antiquarian Samuel Hibbert Ware, and a modern bookplate belonging to British bibliophile Peter Bicknell.
