This copy has been rebacked, laying down the orignal leather back strip. Some rubbing to leather, but the gilt titles are very legible. Marbled paper cover boards have some rubbing but are still attractive. New endsheets with the bookplate of former owner inserted. This copy was an ex-library copy, from two institutions actually, with barely discernible label removal to spine and institution stamps to all three edges of text.
