Inscription on frontispeice of 2nd edition. *The first three volumes appeared in the years 1847-1856, the 4th volume (supplement volume) came out in 1868. Studies of plants of the alps, covering Switzerland, Bavaria, Savoy, and Tyrol. All illustrations in fine condition.

Well colored and nice crisp copy, V.G (Osborne Collection 822 for 1823 4th edition).
