This book has two sections titled 'From Plow Shoe to Patent Leather With Variations and Reuben's European Travels' and 'A Missouri Farmer in a Foreign Land'. There is a tipped in portrait of Reuben opposite the title page. Blue boards have slight soiling front cover. Bumped on corners. Gold type very good. Pages very slightly tanned; otherwise very clean.

Signed and warmly inscribed to Doc Erickson whose movie producer/production credits over thirty years in Hollywood include Rear Window, To Catch a Thief, The Trouble with Harry, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Vertigo, The Misfits, Chinatown, Magic, Players, Urban Cowboy, Blade Runner and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Fine condition except for author's inscription.

Library stamp marked out on top edge of text block, FFE, Title, and Dedication pages. Adhesive stains and wear on end papers from card pocket removal. Book has visible shelf-lean and bumped and worn corners. Cover is damp stained and shaken and the hinge is beginning to crack at pages 172/173. Text block edges are scuffed and soiled but the text is affected minimally by damp stains. Dust jacket has minor wear including damp stain areas and a few small tears.
