Great Britain: The Campfield Press. Hardcover. Good. Bound in stiff card boards. In good+ condition. A few light markings to covers, minor rubbing to cover edges. Previous owner's signature on front end paper, slight browning to page margins, a very few minor markings internally, generally clean. Binding is very good. 24 pages. No publishing date, circa early 20th century. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall

Paris: Libraire des Bibliophiles, 1884. Half-Leather. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Leather binding with marbled covers, gilt decorative spine, marbled endpapers. A nice looking volume. Some spine edge cracking at the spine ends, the hinges are in good order. Toning to the title page, some marking and toning to the blank endpapers, a few marks to the last couple pages. The original printed paper covers are bound in at the front and rear. University of London library bookplate on the endpaper, and their small neat circular stamp on the title reverse and bottom margin of the last page(no other markings). Pages; VII, 238, (2).

London: Oliphants Ltd.. Cloth. Good. Bound in brown cloth with red titling and floral design blind stamped on front cover and spine. In good+ condition. Covers are attractive, with minor rubbing to edges, inscription on front end paper, browning to end papers, otherwise very clean internally. Binding is very good. 182 pages. No publishing date, circa early 20th century. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall

London: Simpkin, Marshall & Co., 1888. Decorative Cloth. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Blue cloth, decorated on the spine and front cover. Rubbing and some fading to the covers, rubbed at the edges. The hinges are in good order, endpapers renewed. The pages are pretty clean, a few marks in places, old brown adhesive mark to the inner margin between the title reverse and preface, and between 14 & 15 (fairly minor). Pages; 231, (1), + 10 pages of ads (8 pages of interesting ads related to Plymouth & 2 pages relating to another book by the author on ancient crosses). 6 sheets of plates (4 are photographic plates of the area), + 15 smart looking woodcut vignette scenes.

Includes; Irish Concealed land Papers 1604-1619, late 15th century Plea Rolls, Irish material in the Chancery Files in London.

Covers are clean, 'from the library of Clive Brindle' on the title, inscription to the same on the half title, binding is very good. In good+ dust jacket with sunning to spine, a couple of spots to the top page edges. 491 pages. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall

London: Virtue, Spalding and Co., 1875. 1st Edition . Decorative Cloth. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Brown cloth with black and gilt decoration, the covers are clean and tidy, gilt bright, the hinges are in good order, a bit overpulled in the centre (with a couple of sheets slightly loosened). Nice internally, only light toning and marking. 72 woodcut illustrations throughout, newspaper article taped onto the endpaper regarding the Eleanor cross at Hardingstone. Pages; XII, 159.

Tidy internally, toning to the pages, a few minor marks, very light small stain to the bottom of the fore-edges in places, some staining to the bottom outer page edges. Belfast library in neat gilt at the base of the spine, faded number at the top of the spine, neat blindstamp (no ink) at the side of the title. Dimensions; 215 by 147mm. Pages; 246.

Rubbed at the spine edges, some fading to the covers, the hinges are secure, rear inner hinge of volume 2 loosened a bit, overpulled internally. Tidy internally, toning to the pages, annotated in places, a few marginal markers and underlines- original owners 1883 name on the endpaper of volume 1 of Robert Cochrane (Buis?). Pages; 164, 112 / (6), 304. Dimensions; 157 by 112mm.
