The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a classic novel by Mark Twain (Samuel L. Clemens). It tells of Huck's escape from his abusive father and journey down the Mississippi with a runaway slave (Jim).
Good condition for a book printed in 1918. No Jacket. Red cloth over boards with Green text on front and spine. Spine is seriously faded and shows much wear. The front has a couple light spots. There is some edge wear and corners are bent. Closed book page edges have some soiling. Pages are seriously age tanned/discolored but text is clean. Binding is tight. Overall, a good reading copy.

This was apparently a reading textbook in 1947 as it includes a section on Pronouncing Vocabulary, and an Index. From the names of the chapters, I'd gather that the stories are about the Mayflower and the colonial times. Large print. Sepia toned images on inside covers and end papers. Green cover with blue and brown image. Brown lettering on front and spine.Ex-library with pocket and card. Last "check out" was 1961. Good+ condition. Good- condition. There is some edge, corner, and spine wear to cover. End papers are blue with blue and white illustrations. Front end paper has previous owner's name in red or purple ink. Next page has a very neat name in red or purple ink. Page on back side of back end paper has a sticker for Aberdeen Book Company, New York, NY.
The closed book page edges have some marks and stains. The top is tinted black that has somewhat faded. The text pages are free of marks, but several pages have stains.
