This beautiful book has 102 Bible stories that have both color and sepia-type illustrations. Many are by the fine art masters.
Beautiful book in Near Fine condition. I chose that rating as I believe that it has a scratch on the front cover; however, it blends in so well with the leather texture that it is not obvious. This is a beautiful book with Gold gilt on the front and spine. No edge or corner wear. All page edges of the book have been tinted a pretty yellow color. No entry in the "Presented To" page. The book is clean and tight throughout. It would make a beautiful gift.
No Dust Jacket. Presumed 1st edition but it is not stated.

Good condition. Blue coated cloth over boards with silver gilt on front and spine. Spine cover has a noticable lengthwise "dent". Covers have light edge/corner wear and some rubbing/bumping. Bottom of closed book pages have a stain. Lots of black & white photographs and illustrations with some color page inserts. Last few pages (starting approx. page 723 have a wrinkle from some kind of liquid exposure (water maybe). The text is still readable. The rest of the text is clean and the binding is good. A good reference book.

Inspiration for every day in the year.Good condition. Red textured leather over thin boards. Title "Daily Promises" in gold gilt. Edges of cover are very worn, but pages appear to have very little wear. The spine edge has a couple chips.Inscription dated 1911 on front end paper. Miniature book, approx. 3-1/2"t x 2-1/2"w Text is clean and binding appears to be good. No page numbers. Book is approx 1/2" thick. Overall, a lovely little book. Green cloth boards have gold gilt title on front and spine. Cover shows some wear and soiling. It appears that two pages have been torn out of the front of the book. Front end paper has an ink note that the author was the previous owner's teacher at Columbia University in New York City 1920. Previous owner's name is in ink on the title page.
