A unique, compact German-English Christian catechism offering Q-and-A style lessons in both languages side-by-side on verso and recto sides of the leaves. The German entries are in Fraktur (gothic) typeface. Volume in dark blue cloth-covered boards w/titling on cover in white lettering. Includes an appendix, all in German, containing psalms and hymn lyrics. Unusual pagination scheme uses same number for a given page in its German version and for the English equivalent. --- Fragile volume is quite loose but still intact, though a leaf has worked free.
